Dzhabarov doubted that the UK will provide aircraft to Ukraine

Kyiv does not have time to train pilots to fly foreign aircraft, said Vladimir Dzhabarov, deputy chairman of the Federation Council Committee on International Affairs. He said this on February 10 at the press center of the Parliamentary Newspaper.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky arrived in the UK on February 8, where he addressed the British Parliament with a request for the supply of fighter jets, and also visited a camp where the Ukrainian military is trained. Thus, Zelensky is trading the lives of Ukrainian people, exchanging them for Western weapons, Senator Dzhabarov believes.

It is too early to talk about the supply of aircraft, because they need trained pilots, which Ukraine does not have, the parliamentarian is sure. It takes years to train them, so it may never come to the transfer of fighters, he added.

“It is very difficult to train Ukrainian pilots to fly British aircraft or American F-16s in a few months. And therefore, I think that planes may simply not reach there, otherwise they will simply turn into targets for the Russian Armed Forces, ”Dzhabarov said.

With tanks, the situation is different, because you can learn how to manage them faster, but, according to the senator, German, Polish, British crews will also sit in them at first.
