Deputy Prime Minister Belousov supervised work on Putin’s order on drones

First Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Belousov met with manufacturers of domestic unmanned aerial systems. During the meeting, the politician gave instructions to develop the production of Russian drones by decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin. This was reported on the website of the Government of Russia.

During the meeting, the politician gave key instructions to work on the development of Russian UAS, says in the message. “As part of this work, we must open the sky for drones in terms of changing the regulatory environment, as well as create technical means for monitoring and controlling the movement of drones,” said Andrey Belousov. Also, according to him, it is necessary to provide Russian manufacturers of drones with support measures.

The Deputy Prime Minister said that it is necessary to stimulate the demand for the operation of drones in the sectors of the economy and form a state order for this equipment. In addition, Belousov instructed to increase the number of personnel by creating specialized education in the production of unmanned aerial vehicles. In addition, the politician instructed to create a convenient certification system and ensure the safety of using UAS.
