Bulgaria will not accept anti-Russian sanctions in nuclear energy – President Radev

Bulgaria will not support the introduction of anti-Russian sanctions in the field of nuclear energy. This was announced today, February 9, by Bulgarian President Rumen Radev upon his arrival at the EU summit.

“Bulgaria cannot accept [антироссийские] sanctions in the field of nuclear energy, as they will directly affect our nuclear industry. We are considering other areas where it is possible to expand sanctions, but where our interests are directly affected, we will be very careful and will be ready to veto,” — said Radev, quoted by TASS.
