Artists of the Donetsk Republican Academic Youth Theater (RAMT) will come to Nizhny Tagil (Sverdlovsk region) on tour. They will show the performances “Lefty”, “The Man from Podolsk” and “At the Ark at Eight”, the press service of the Tagil administration reports.

“Within the framework of a unified touring system and under the auspices of the two federal programs “Big Tours” and “We are Russia”, on March 19 and 20, the team of the Donetsk Republican Academic Youth Theater will present three best performances to Tagil residents,” the announcement says.

The artists will present the play “Lefty” based on the novel by Nikolai Leskov, Dmitry Danilov’s play “The Man from Podolsk”, which takes place in the police department, but this is not just an executive body, but the police of morals and thoughts. As well as the play “At the Ark at Eight”, which in 2022 was awarded a diploma of the International Theater Festival “Let’s Talk About Love” in the nomination “Best Children’s Performance”.

Tours of Donetsk artists will be accompanied by an exhibition of artists from the city of Makeevka “Donbass – my love”, which will present about 50 works. In June, the Sverdlovsk Governor Yevgeny Kuyvashev and the head of Makeevka Vladislav Klyucharov agreed to cooperate. The head of the region visited Makeyevka, where he agreed with the mayor that Sverdlovsk universities and colleges would train young specialists from the DPR. Later, doctors from the Urals were sent to Donbass to help their colleagues.
