In the Kurgan region, a postal employee from the Vargashinsky district took out loans and realized that her salary was not enough for monthly payments. She began stealing money from the Russian Post account. This is stated in court documents.
“The head of the branch of Russian Post JSC in the village of Pichugino, Vargashinsky district, embezzled 99 thousand 998 rubles. She spent these funds to repay her loans,” stated in the materials published on the website of the Vargashinsky District Court.
At the trial, it turned out that in total the head of the department embezzled 228 thousand 950 rubles, but of this she returned 128 thousand 951 rubles to the Russian Post cash desk. The woman admitted guilt and repented. It was recognized as a mitigating circumstance that she was already elderly and was still raising an adopted child. The court sentenced the attacker to a fine of 100 thousand rubles.
Previously, the head of the post office of one of the villages of the Ketovsky district of the Kurgan region was tried for embezzlement and theft of goods from parcels. She also periodically embezzled money from the cash register.
