All the powerful countries of the world, including America, Russia and China, were proud of the fact that only they have the technology to make advanced types of weapons and no one can challenge their supremacy in weapon manufacturing. However, in the last decade, India not only challenged those powerful countries, but also created such an indigenous ecosystem, due to which India has now become self-sufficient. Along with this, all the small countries of the world whose defense budget is less and they are not able to buy expensive weapons or platforms, their hopes have also been increased in India.
In this episode, the indigenous power of India will be seen in the Aero India 2023 show starting on Monday in Bengaluru. In this Aero India, held once in two years, India is going to display its indigenous fighter jets, utility helicopters, attack helicopters, drones and missiles in front of the world. In this Aero India, Defense Ministers of 32 countries are participating in the Defense Minister Conclave, while Air Force chiefs of 29 countries will participate. Regarding Aero India, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said, ‘The name of the meeting with the Defense Ministers has been given. We believe that it will provide speed to deal with challenges with friendly countries, while in the defense sector we will achieve a new position in manufacturing including cyber, artificial intelligence.
The Defense Minister said that more than 250 MoUs will be signed in the brainstorming programme. There will be investment in Karnataka, due to which employment will be created in future.
More than 800 companies registered for Aero India
In the 14th edition of Aero India, more than 800 companies from India and abroad have registered themselves and are exhibiting their small to big products. Running from 13 to 17 February, the first 3 days of Aero India have been kept as Business Day and the remaining 2 days have been kept for the general public, when they will be able to see this aero show. A special fly-past will be organized on this occasion, in which fighter aircraft, helicopters and drones of Air Force, HAL, DRDO, Indian Navy and Army will take part.
This time the theme of the aero show has been kept, ‘Made in India, Made for the world’ ie aircraft and weapons made by India for the world…. At the same time, the tagline of this Aero-India is ‘Runway to a Billion Opportunity’.
DRDO’s two special drones will be seen in the sky
In this aero show, this time on behalf of Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), along with indigenous aircrafts and helicopters, two special DRDO drones will also be seen in the sky. One of these drones is Tapas and the other drone is ‘Archer’ … and at the time of flypast, DRDO’s drone ‘Tapas’ flying at a higher altitude would not only be recording everything but also showed the live feed from it Will go. Apart from this, in this aero show, DRDO’s made armed or say attack drone will be in front of the world for the first time.
India is becoming world’s new sensation in helicopter manufacturing
During this aero show, HAL’s self-sufficient flight formation is going to make headlines in the fly past. In this formation, 15 indigenous helicopters, including LCH-Prachand, ALH Dhruv and Light Utility Helicopter, whose factory was recently dedicated to the country by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, will be included. Apart from this, the fixed-wing aircraft will include LCA-trainer, HTT-40, IJT and Hawk-Eye. At the same time Rafal, Sukhoi, LCA Tejas, Mirage 2000 and MiG-29 of the Indian Air Force will also participate in the fly past. And military transport aircraft, reconnaissance aircraft including C-17 and C-130 will also participate. The world will see the design of the country’s first supersonic combat trainer aircraft during Aero India.
During this, a total of 330 products and technologies will be displayed by DRDO, including Astra, Long Range Surface to Air Missile (LRSAM), Quick Reaction Surface to Air Missile (QRSAM), SAM, Next Generation Anti Radiation Missile, Smart Anti There will be airfield weapons and fearless missiles.
Airborne Early Warning and Control System, LCA Tejas and LCA-Navy will participate in the flying display from DRDO. However, the whole country is eyeing Asia’s biggest air show, Aero India, and this show will be presented in such a way that the world can see India’s prowess in terms of technology.
