A video of another alleged execution with a sledgehammer of an ex-fighter of the Wagner PMC appeared on the Internet

In the Telegram channel gray zone, which is associated with Wagner PMC, published a video of a man being executed with a sledgehammer. As stated in the message of the channel, the victim is a prisoner who joined the PMC, and later voluntarily surrendered to the Ukrainian military. The video consists of two parts: an interview with a prisoner and his alleged execution – at the moment of impact, most of the image is blurred.

In a video published by Gray Zone, a man says his name is Dmitry Yakushchenko. According to him, he was born in the Crimea, received 19 years in prison for murder and robbery. The description of the video claims that Dmitry Yakushchenko voluntarily surrendered to Ukrainian troops after four days at the front.

As stated in the message of the Telegram channel, the man, “like his colleague Yevgeny Nuzhin earlier, fell ill with the same disease, from which you lose consciousness in the cities of Ukraine, then in Kyiv, now in the Dnieper”, after which he woke up “in the basement on his last court session.

In the second part of the video, you can see how Dmitry Yakushchenko is in the basement, and his head is tied with tape to a stone. In the video, he says that “being on the front line, I realized that this was not my war.” According to him, he was on the street in the Dnieper, where he “received a blow to the head and lost consciousness”, after which he “woke up in this room.” After that, a man in camouflage strikes Yakushchenko three times on the head with a sledgehammer.

In November, a video appeared in Gray zone with the alleged execution of ex-prisoner Yevgeny Nuzhin. The video shows him getting his head smashed with a sledgehammer. According to the Telegram channel, Nuzhin voluntarily surrendered to the Ukrainian military and began to actively cooperate with them. In the office of the President of Ukraine, they said that Yevgeny Nuzhin voluntarily agreed to an exchange to Russia. The founder of the Wagner PMC, Yevgeny Prigozhin, stated that the PMC is not engaged in the exchange of prisoners. The HRC did not rule out that Nuzhin was alive.
