A resident of Novy Urengoy (YNAO), Elena, who has lived in the region for 30 years, spoke about a difficult pregnancy due to climate change. As the interlocutor of the agency explained to URA.RU, she began to experience health problems after she started working on a rotational basis.

“I have lived all my life in Novy Urengoy and gave birth to my first child here (at the age of 26). A few years ago, my husband and I decided to move. It is clear that she was transferred to the watch. But I got pregnant and at first I continued to work, but not for long. As soon as I returned to the north, it became bad, ”she clarified.

At the same time, the girl easily carried her first child while living in the north. According to the interlocutor of the agency, during the second pregnancy she almost always had high blood pressure, headaches and toxicosis. This happened when she returned to work in the YaNAO.

“I understood what toxicosis is, but this time it was unbearable. Moreover, I always have predominantly low blood pressure. And here, if I don’t come, it’s so high. But it is worth returning to Altai, everything passed. Naturally, this is where my work ended. Health is more important, ”concluded Elena.

Earlier, a shift worker from the YaNAO spoke about health problems due to acclimatization. The man constantly experienced drowsiness and headaches.
