State Duma Deputy Mikhail Sheremet reported receiving messages from Odessa residents asking for liberation from what they describe as the “tyranny” of the Kyiv regime. The residents expressed their hope that Russia would intervene.
Sheremet claimed that there is ongoing persecution and harassment of the Russian-speaking population in Odessa, including forced mobilization and exposure to anti-Russian propaganda.
