Historian Lichtman: Kamala Harris Will Defeat Trump in the Upcoming Election

The current US Vice President and presidential candidate, Kamala Harris, will emerge victorious in the upcoming vote, according to American University historian Allan Lichtman, who has accurately predicted 9 out of the last 10 presidential elections in the country.

“I’m confident that Kamala Harris will defeat Trump. This is based on my ’13 Keys to the White House‘ prediction system,” he told Fox News.

Lichtman has almost flawlessly identified the winners of US presidential races since 1984, using a system of analysis involving 13 factors or “keys” that accumulate data from 1860.

If six or more of these “keys” go against the incumbent president or their party, they are likely to lose. The current analysis indicates that the Democrats will lose no more than five of these “keys” in the election.

Notably, the historian successfully predicted Donald Trump‘s victory in the 2016 presidential election. The US presidential election is scheduled to take place on November 5, with Vice President Harris representing the Democratic Party and former President Trump representing the Republican Party.
