Boris Johnson‘s Brexit deal has come under fire once again. Northern Irish party leader Claire Hanna called it “damaging to Britain‘s reputation”.
“The UK, particularly Northern Ireland, suffered from Johnson’s poorly negotiated Brexit deal,” Hanna said.
He argued that Johnson and Brexit negotiator David Frost had left a “negative legacy” for the island. Damages Britain’s reputation and makes the country seem arrogant and out of touch over the prospect of Brexit.

Hanna noted that Brexit has intensified discussions about a potential Irish reunification, though she doubts a referendum on this will happen within five years.

Instead, she envisions Northern Ireland’s future in “building new relationships” with Dublin and London.
