Trump Posts Viral AI Video of Obama’s “Arrest” Amidst Conspiracy Claims

President Donald Trump shared an AI-generated video on social media depicting former President Barack Obama’s arrest in the Oval Office. This video, which quickly went viral, comes amid accusations by current Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard that Obama orchestrated a “coup” to delegitimize Trump’s 2016 election victory.

The video, posted by Trump on his Truth Social platform, shows two FBI agents handcuffing Obama while he is meeting with Trump in the Oval Office. Trump’s caption for the video read, “Nobody above the law.” The clip then shows Obama in a prison cell wearing an orange jumpsuit, alongside other officials from his administration. Interestingly, the song “YMCA” by the Village People plays in the background.

According to a New York Times report, the AI-generated video originated from TikTok. It appears to be a manipulated version of footage from a November 2016 meeting between then-President Obama and President-elect Trump, which took place shortly after Trump defeated Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton.

Allegations of 2016 Election Interference

The timing of Trump’s video coincides with serious allegations made by Tulsi Gabbard, Director of National Intelligence. Gabbard claims the Obama administration engaged in a “deep conspiracy” to invalidate Trump’s 2016 presidential win.

She alleges Obama administration officials presented “fabricated intelligence” to convince the public that Russia interfered in the election to favor Trump and hinder Clinton. Gabbard describes these actions as a “coup” and states she will recommend legal action with the Justice Department.

Gabbard further asserts that analysis of intelligence data reveals no evidence of Russian interference attempts in the 2016 election. She accuses Obama of distorting intelligence for political purposes and misleading the public, calling it “treasonous.”

Obama’s office declined to comment on the video when contacted. Meanwhile, Democrats are dismissing Gabbard’s accusations against Obama as politically motivated.
