Games 2024: is not allowing more than 100 people to attend this summer’s in Paris due to national security concerns, the country’s Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin said.

Darmanen told LCI. Said on the TV channel, “We examined 180 thousand people, we did not allow 800 people (to participate in the Games – Ed.), 15 of whom are on the list of people posing a threat to national security. We Also checked 200 thousand employees of private security companies will protect the stadiums, fan zones… 102 people (who were posing a threat to national security, were not given entry – Ed.),”

Darmanan said that among those excluded were Islamists and radical environmental activists who “clearly had bad intentions.”

The Olympics will be held from 26 July to 11 August 2024 in Paris, the Paralympics from 28 August to 8 September.
