Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu asserts Israel’s offensive in Gaza will persist until Hamas faces certain defeat, a stance drawing urgent calls from President Donald Trump for swift decision-making. Meanwhile, Hamas states ceasefire talks hold no meaning amid ongoing blockade and starvation.

Gaza witnessed another brutal day, with 63 Palestinians killed by Netanyahu’s forces. Bomb blasts and cries of anguish now define daily life for Gaza residents. Sunday’s assaults by Israeli forces in areas including Khan Younis and Bani Suheila left over fifty Palestinians dead.
Reports also surfaced alleging Israel uses aid deliveries as a trap for killings. An Israeli army spokesperson disputes this, claiming Hamas perpetrates false famine propaganda in Gaza.
Netanyahu maintains his forces will continue their operation until victory is secure. He emphasized maintaining minimal humanitarian aid into Gaza. “We make progress fighting and discussing, aiming to destroy Hamas and free our hostages,” Netanyahu stated. “Whatever path we choose, we must permit minimal humanitarian aid. We will fight until we reach our goal.”
President Donald Trump urged Netanyahu to reach a swift resolution regarding Gaza. Trump believes Israel should pursue negotiation for a solution rather than continuous attacks. “I said when you kill most Gaza people, you cannot make a deal with Hamas,” Trump said. “
They would feel this is their end if they gave up. And it has happened. Hamas suddenly grew tough. They no longer want to return residents. So Israel must make a quick decision.”
Hamas, however, dismisses ceasefire discussions with Israel as meaningless given the current blockade and starvation. They contend that immediate, dignified delivery of food and medicine to civilians would prove if ongoing talks are worthwhile. Trump has, in turn, blamed Hamas for a lack of progress in peace efforts.
Russian media outlet RT reports over 1,000 Jewish clerics accuse Netanyahu of weaponizing hunger for mass killings in Gaza. Jewish scholars and clerics from the U.S., UK, EU, and Israel made this accusation in an open letter.
