Deputy Pentagon Spokesperson Sabrina Singh discussed this at a briefing, emphasizing that while Russia has not responded to certain actions, the risk of future retaliation remains.

Singh acknowledged the ongoing risk of escalation but reiterated that despite these concerns, the U.S. and its allies remain committed to supporting Ukraine in the long term.

When asked about the recent attack by Ukrainian forces on Russia’s Kursk region, Singh noted that Washington is still trying to learn more about the objectives of the Ukrainian military.
