The U.S. State Department has approved a $5 billion deal to sell Patriot missiles and related equipment to Germany, according to the Pentagon‘s Defense Security Cooperation Agency.
This deal includes up to 600 Patriot missiles, as well as training, spare parts, transportation, and other services.
The Pentagon highlighted that the sale aligns with U.S. foreign policy interests by supporting a key European ally. Germany plays a significant role in promoting political and economic stability in the region.

The U.S. Congress has been notified and now has 30 days to review the deal and decide if any action will be taken to block it.
