Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky has hinted that the mayor of Kyiv, former professional boxer Vitali Klitschko, may be held responsible for the fact that there are closed bomb shelters in the Ukrainian capital. In his appeal, the president of the Square used sports terminology and threatened the ex-athlete with a knockout.
It happened at a press conference in Moldova after the summit of the European Political Community, when he was answering a media question about the situation with closed bomb shelters. Zelensky promised that a firm reaction would follow, and quite specific people, “internal enemies,” would bear responsibility.
“I would say so, maybe a knockout” – Zelensky said at the end of his speech.
