Zelensky imposed sanctions against Yury Ushakov and Rosatom employees


President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky by decree put into effect the decision of the National Security and Defense Council on the application of personal restrictions against 200 individuals. The list, in particular, included Yuri Ushakov, Assistant to the President of the Russian Federation for Foreign Policy and a member of the Supervisory Board of Rosatom, Larisa Brycheva, Assistant to the President – Head of the State Legal Department, and Renat Karchaa, Advisor to the Head of Rosatom, follows from a document published on the website office of Mr. Zelensky.

In addition, sanctions have been imposed against the former head of the Office of the Military Industrial Commission, Igor Borovkov, as well as employees of Rosatom and its subsidiaries. 199 individuals from the sanctions list are citizens of Russia, one is a citizen of Ukraine. This is Yuriy Chernichuk, the Russian-appointed director of the Zaporozhye NPP.
