Zakharova called on the participants in the Palestinian-Israeli conflict to cease fire

The parties to the Palestinian-Israeli crisis must cease fire. This was stated by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova.

She also noted that Russia is concerned about the possibility of a worsening of the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip.

“We call on all parties involved to exercise maximum restraint, prevent the escalation of hostilities and immediately return to a sustainable ceasefire,” the diplomat stressed.

The conflict between Palestine and Israel broke out on the night of August 6. The parties began to strike missiles at each other’s territories.
