Zakharova called legally void the actions of the ICC in relation to the citizens of the Russian Federation

The actions of the International Criminal Court (ICC) are not capable of influencing the nature of the participation of Russian delegations in the work of the UN and membership in the bodies of the United Nations. This was stated by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova.

“Whatever the actions of the International Criminal Court can not affect the nature of the participation of our delegations in the work of the United Nations and membership in its bodies,” — Zakharova said at a briefing.

According to the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Russian Federation has never cooperated and will not cooperate with the ICC, and its actions in relation to Russian citizens are legally null and void.
