As far as the match is concerned, New Zealand won the toss and invited India to bat first. The Indian team scored 217 runs in the first innings thanks to 49 runs from vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane and 44 runs from captain Virat Kohli.

New Zealand team has scored 101 runs for 2 wickets

In reply, New Zealand team has scored 101 runs for two wickets. In the last four days so far, 141.1 overs of play has been possible. On the second day 64.4 while on the third day on Sunday only 76.3 overs could be played.
