Earlier this week, White House spokesperson John Kirby, responding to Putin’s comment about who supports in the US elections, urged the Russian leader to stop commenting on elections.

At the Eastern Economic Forum, Putin jokingly said that since recommended his supporters back Harris, “we’ll do the same, we’ll support her too.” Additionally, he praised her laughter, noting that if it’s so contagious, then she must be doing well.
