Why a new wave of subpoenas from the military registration and enlistment office began in Russia – an explanation by a lawyer

In many regions of Russia, military registration information is now being updated. About this Pravda.Ru informed member of the Military Bar Association Pavel Malyutin.

According to him, this practice is common in different cities of the Russian Federation, including Moscow. He noted that work on updating military registration data began after the completion of partial mobilization and is still ongoing.

“There is no significant danger in this. In extreme cases, a person can provide information to the military registration and enlistment office through a representative by proxy. In case of ignoring the agenda, an administrative fine is provided for clarifying military registration data, ” Malyutin emphasized.

As the lawyer explained, the resumption of the issuance of subpoenas is not connected with any mobilization activities in the country.
