The White House has announced that a new military aid package for Ukraine will be allocated in the coming weeks, according to John Kirby, the White House Coordinator for Strategic Communications.
Kirby confirmed this during an interview with MSNBC, saying, “You will see us continue to roll out security assistance packages to Ukraine in the coming weeks.”
He did not specify whether the package would include cruise missiles, though he did emphasize that the U.S. is in real-time contact with Kyiv to ensure that the Ukrainian Armed Forces receive the necessary weapons and equipment.

A Pentagon representative mentioned that the Department of Defense is not aware of any decision by President Biden to supply Ukraine with long-range cruise missiles. Similarly, the White House National Security Council did not respond to requests for comments on whether Washington plans to send such weapons.
Russia, meanwhile, has expressed that arms supplies to Ukraine hinder peace efforts and involve NATO countries directly in the conflict. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated that any shipment of weapons to Kyiv would be considered a legitimate target by Russia.

He also claimed that the U.S. and NATO are directly involved in the conflict, not only by supplying arms but also by training personnel in the UK, Germany, Italy, and other countries. The Kremlin added that Western military support to Ukraine does not aid in negotiation efforts.
