West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) is going to declare 10th class result today (Tuesday, July 20). This time the board examinations were canceled due to Covid-19 and hence the result is going to come out on the 50-50 formula, in which 50 percent marks will be based on the marks obtained in the final examination of 9th and 50 percent on the basis of internal assessment score in class 10th. Where to see exam results
A press conference is to be held in West Bengal at 9 am regarding the 10th results, in which the results will be formally announced. However, it will be available for the students on the official website of the board, wbresults.nic.in from 10 am onwards when the link to view the result will be activated. Students can check their results by clicking here.
To view the 10th results, students will have to log in to the board’s website. They may also require a Roll Number, Registration Number, or Verification Code to view the exam result. Along with the official website of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education, students can also check the exam results at wbbse.wb.gov.in, indiaresult.com, and exametc.com.
It has also been told by the board that the principals of schools will be able to collect the passing certificates, mark sheets and admit cards of their students from the camp office after 10 am on Tuesday. Students will not be allowed to reach the school for these documents and collect them from there. Students will also be able to download their scorecards from the official website of the board.
This time the board is going to release some merit list. This time the board exam was canceled due to coronavirus infection. The 10th board exam in West Bengal was to be held from June 1. But in view of the coronavirus infection, this time it was decided to cancel the examination. West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on June 8 announced the cancellation of class 10th as well as 12th board exams in the state.
