Capitol police are preparing for possible protests if the former American leader is charged and taken into custody, at least two people familiar with the situation said. It is alleged that starting from the morning of March 21 local time (March 22 Moscow time), the level of police security will be increased.

In addition, a fence may be installed on the approach to the Capitol. According to police intelligence, some of the protests may begin near the Trump estate in Florida and New York City, and not at the Capitol.

The ex-head of the White House himself called on his supporters to protest, in case he was taken into custody.

Previously IA REGNUM reported that Trump, if charged and subsequently taken into custody, would not be publicly handcuffed and placed in a cell.
