Warsaw is waiting for Berlin to decide on the deployment of Patriot systems in Poland

Warsaw awaits Berlin’s decision on deployment of Patriot missile defense systems in Poland

The decision on the deployment of Patriot anti-missile defense systems (ABM) on Polish territory is left to Germany by the Polish authorities. This was announced on November 30 by the Deputy Minister of Defense of Poland Wojciech Skurkiewicz broadcast on Polish Radio.

As Skurkevich pointed out, speaking about the fact that earlier in Berlin they announced that the proposal to deploy these missile defense systems on Polish territory remains in force, the Polish authorities are very happy with this opportunity.

“We hope that this proposal does not have some kind of double bottom fueled by PR and propaganda, as the German media often writes. It is important to strengthen NATO’s eastern flank”– he said.

Also, the Deputy Polish Minister of Defense noted that Warsaw would appropriately and openly accept Patriot systems if the German side nevertheless decided to deploy them in Poland.

“The decision rests with Germany. This issue must be resolved by the German side.”Skurkevich explained.

Note that earlier an officer of the People’s Militia of the Lugansk People’s Republic Andrey Marochko said that between the military of the Kyiv regime and the Polish mercenaries, disagreements are intensifying.
