Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic asked the NATO leadership who gave the alliance the right to kill civilians in 1999.
“24 years have passed since you took part of the country from us, killed children and civilians, military and policemen. Where did you get the right to kill our military and policemen, who gave you this right ?!” — Vučić said on the anniversary of the bombing of Yugoslavia.
The head of the Serbian state stressed that NATO troops attacked a sovereign and free country, while justifying the bombings with the desire to avoid a “humanitarian catastrophe.” However, instead, Vučić pointed out, the alliance was arming rebel groups.
