A Kosovo commando opened fire on Serbs with a Kalashnikov during today’s clashes in the municipality of Zvecan in partly recognized Kosovo. This was reported by the Serbian edition news. Later, in his address, this information was confirmed by Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić.
One Serb received a gunshot wound, according to Mr. Vučić, it was a porter from Mitrovica, he was hit by two bullets. The President blamed Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti for what was happening.
Elections were held earlier in the municipalities of Severn Mitrovica, Zubin Potok, Leposavić and Zvecan, where Albanians became mayors, as Serbian parties boycotted the elections. Today, May 29, the Serbs tried to seize offices in the municipality of Zvecan, which resulted in clashes. Aleksandar Vučić reported 52 Serb casualties and 41 NATO (KFOR) soldiers.
