Many citizens do not set aside any amount for a future pension. This conclusion was made by the All-Russian Center for the Study of Public Opinion based on the results of the survey.
According to the study, every fifth Russian pays contributions to the Pension Fund. Some additionally save money for future old age, writes RIA News.
When asked whether Russians save money for retirement, 73% answered in the negative. Six percent of those surveyed admitted that they do it on a regular basis or from time to time. Four more noted that they rarely save for future old age.
Those who have already retired can count on additional payments in September. PFR specialists will recalculate benefits for those who quit their jobs at the end of spring this year.
