Russian special operation in Ukraine
Volunteers from Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug found documents of the Azov nationalist battalion (recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation) while clearing the rubble of the drama theater in Mariupol. This was reported to URA.RU by the head of the “Humanitarian Volunteer Corps” Eduard Loginov.
“Ugra volunteers, while sorting through the rubble of the drama theater in Mariupol, discovered Azov’s documents. These are the lists of vacationers of the battalion. This indicates that at the time of the bombing, the Ukrainian military could be in the building, ”commented Loginov. He also added that representatives of the humanitarian corps through the Ministry of Emergency Situations handed over the found papers to the Investigative Committee of Russia.
Some of the Ugra volunteers have already returned home after several weeks of work in the Donbass. “During this time, more than 15 thousand Mariupol residents were fed. In addition to hot lunches, residents of Donbass received boxes of goodness with essentials,” Loginov added.
The Drama Theater was blown up on March 16 during the fighting in Mariupol. Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a special operation on the territory of Ukraine on February 24. According to him, the priority of the Russian army is the exclusion of unnecessary casualties among the civilian population, the defeat of military infrastructure facilities, equipment and weapons of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and national battalions with high-precision means.
