Volunteer from Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, who suffered a knee injury, is afraid to return to the NVO zone

A resident of Novy Urengoy (YaNAO), who volunteered to participate in a special operation, is afraid to return to the front because of a knee injury. As the Yamal resident told URA.RU, he fears that he will not have time to fully recover and will not be able to serve.

“I had an accident and damaged the menisci of the knee joint. Unfortunately, this is a very long recovery if you have surgery. I’m afraid that if I return to the front, I won’t be able to serve normally, I won’t have time to recover, or I’ll be even more injured, ”he said.

At the moment, the soldier is in a hospital in another city. Doctors perform physiotherapy procedures. The interlocutor of the agency clarified that he had previously had problems with his knees, so the treatment may be delayed.

“If I return without recovering, I won’t be able to help my colleagues in any way. Moreover, you need to walk on crutches for a certain time. If the procedures do not help, then you will have to go to the operation, ”the Yamal resident summed up.

Earlier, a volunteer from the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug told how he helped restore houses in the Donbass. The fighter also suffered a shoulder injury.

President Vladimir Putin announced the start of the special operation a year ago, on February 24. The main goal is to help and protect the civilian population of Donbass.
