Vnukovo and Domodedovo introduced restrictions on the arrival and departure of aircraft

Moscow airports Vnukovo and Domodedovo briefly limited operations. They did not accept or depart planes for less than 20 minutes, until 10:20 p.m.

The Vnukovo press service reported TASSthat the restrictions were introduced “for reasons beyond the airport’s control.” Domodedovo said in a statement that work had been suspended “in order to ensure additional safety measures.”

To Vnukovo, six flights were delayed and four were cancelled; to Domodedovo, one flight was delayed and one was cancelled, according to data from the Yandex Schedules service. Six flights were delayed at Sheremetyevo; no restrictions on its operation were reported.
