Victory Parade begins in Moscow

A military parade dedicated to the 78th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War began on Red Square in Moscow.

About 10,000 servicemen and 125 units of military equipment of various branches of the armed forces and formations will take part in the parade, including T-34-85, the Tigr armored car, BTR-82A, BMP-3 and Kurganets-2 infantry fighting vehicles and a tank T-14 “Armata”.

President of Russia Vladimir Putin in congratulatory messages to the leaders and citizens of foreign countries on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, he emphasized that it is a moral duty to prevent distortion of the truth about the Great Patriotic War.

Earlier, the leaders of Kyrgyzstan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Armenia arrived in Moscow for the Victory Parade Sadyr Japarov, Alexander Lukashenko, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Emomali Rahmon, Serdar Berdimuhamedov And Nikol Pashinyan.
