Verstappen won the Formula 1 Brazilian Grand Prix – Kommersant

Dutch driver Max Verstappen (Red Bull) won the Brazilian Grand Prix, the 21st round of the Formula 1 World Championship. The second place was taken by the Briton Lando Norris (McLaren), the third – by the Spaniard Fernando Alonso (Aston Martin).

Verstappen won for the 17th time this season and once again updated his own record for this indicator. The victory in the Brazilian Grand Prix was his 52nd in his career. According to this indicator, he came into clear fourth place, ahead of the Frenchman Alain Prost. Only the Germans Sebastian Vettel (122) and Michael Schumacher (155) and the Briton Lewis Hamilton (197) have more victories.

Alonso reached the podium for the 106th time in his career and came out in fourth place in history for this indicator. Prost had the same number of options.

Max Verstappen previously became world champion in Formula 1 ahead of schedule. This is his third title in his career. Red Bull also secured early victory in the Constructors’ Championship.
