Vandals put a clown mask on the monument to Lenin in the Krasnodar Territory

Law enforcement officers of the Krasnodar Territory are looking for intruders who desecrated a monument to Vladimir Lenin by wearing a clown mask.

The regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia reported that the vandals put on a clown mask on the monument to the leader of the proletariat in the village of Uspenskoye. A sign with the words “Killer of the Russian people” was also attached to the pedestal, the ministry said.

“On this fact, the material has been registered in the Department of Internal Affairs for the Uspensky District, and special measures are currently being taken to identify the attacker,” the Ministry of Internal Affairs added.

Earlier, residents of the Ukrainian village of Lisichevo opposed the demolition of the monument to the Soviet soldier-liberator.
