This year, high-level delegations from more than 40 countries of the world will take part in the 25th anniversary St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. But among them there will be no active figures from unfriendly countries. This was told by Assistant to the President of the Russian Federation Yuri Ushakov.
According to him, at the plenary session of the SPIEF, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Egyptian leader Abdel Fattah el-Sisi (he will participate in the event via video link) will answer questions from the participants, and Chinese President Xi Jinping will write a separate address to the participants.
At the same time, there will be no representatives of unfriendly countries among the guests.
“There will be no official representatives from unfriendly states at the forum,” added Ushakov.
During the forum, after the plenary session, the President of Russia will hold bilateral meetings with the leader of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev, the President of Armenia Vahagn Khachatryan, as well as with the member of the Presidium of Bosnia and Herzegovina from the Serbian people Milorad Dodik.
