US State Department concerned about Iranian drones for Russia


Russia and Iran will fall under US sanctions if they implement a deal on drones, the first deputy head of the press service of the US State Department told reporters on August 11 Vedant Patel.

He explained that the arms trade for both Irina and Russia would result in sanctions. Washington has information that Moscow intends to buy attack drones from Tehran.

According to the representative of the American foreign policy department, Russia was handed over “a demonstration sample of an Iranian-made unmanned aerial vehicle capable of being used in a strike version”.

Patel added that there is such information: Russian specialists have visited Iran, who have already been trained in the use of UAVs that are being prepared for transfer to Russia.
