US has stated it sees no need to respond to Russia’s nuclear deterrence training exercise.
Pentagon does not see a requirement to change the deployment of its forces in response to Russia‘s drills.
According to Pentagon spokesperson Patrick Ryder, US does not see a need to adjust the deployment of its forces in response to Russia’s strategic nuclear deterrence exercises.
“These are scheduled regular drills, no surprises. We have seen nothing in the context of Russia’s strategic forces and their deployment that would require changes in the deployment of our forces,” Ryder said at a briefing.
