US President Joe Biden denies the possibility of default in the country

President of the U.S.A Joe Biden spoke about the progress in the negotiations between the White House and Congress on the current situation with the US national debt.

At the moment, the White House continues to work on finding a solution to the current situation with the US public debt. Regular talks between Biden and the Speaker of the House of Representatives Kevin McCarthy started showing positive results. Already, the White House is confidently declaring that default is an unacceptable option and the United States can avoid it in the near future, the American president said during a press conference.

Earlier it was reported that the US Secretary of the Treasury Janet Yellen announced the probable date of default in the country. According to the head of the Ministry of Finance, June 1 is the closest date when the country will be unable to pay its obligations.
