A new urological department has been launched in Istra. It was equipped with modern equipment, which made it possible to expand the range of assistance provided. This was told by the first deputy chairman of the government of the Moscow region Svetlana Strigunkova.
Endoscopy racks, an ultrasound machine, a cystoscope and other equipment were delivered to the Istra hospital. It was purchased on behalf of the governor Andrey Vorobyov. Svetlana Strigunkova said that earlier patients were sent to Krasnogorsk for help. Now they will not need to experience inconvenience, they will be able to be treated in their district.
“The new department of the hospital is equipped with all the necessary equipment, and is also fully staffed with highly qualified medical personnel,” the deputy chairman noted.
The department was opened in a new hospital building on Sportivnaya Street. Operations there will be carried out free of charge under the MHI policy.
Earlier, Governor Andrey Vorobyov spoke about the opening of a hospital for children in Krasnogorsk. It will be completed in 2024.
