The Yogi Adityanath government of Uttar Pradesh has refused permission to Congress delegation led by Rahul Gandhi to visit Lakhimpur Kheri area. Eight people, including four farmers, were killed in violence that erupted in Tikonia area of Lakhimpur Kheri district on Sunday against the visit of Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya to the native village of Union Minister of State for Home Ajay Mishra.
