Unprotected sex with more than five partners can lead to sexually transmitted infections

Unprotected sex with more than five people can lead to sexually transmitted diseases, said doctor Mikhail Urpin.

Some infections are sexually transmitted specifically and “live” inside the human body for several years. Such diseases are difficult to diagnose, said dermatovenerologist Mikhail Urpin on the air of the radio station “Moscow speaking”.

“If a person had more than five partners, and he did not use contraception, then he could definitely catch something,” the doctor said.

The risk of contracting an STD occurs from the moment you start having sex. The most common symptoms of the disease are pain, swelling, beauty and discharge. The risk group does not include those citizens who carry out prevention and use condoms during sex, concluded Urpin.

Earlier, the concept of “sex for friendship” was commented on by sexologist, psychologist Valentin Denisov-Melnikov. In his opinion, in such a situation, feelings, emotions and circumstances are mixed.
