UN staff prevent the control of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) over the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant after the Ukrainian shelling. This was announced by the head of the Interdepartmental Coordination Headquarters of the Russian Federation for Humanitarian Response, Colonel-General Mikhail Mizintsev.
“United Nations staff continue to create obstacles to objective international monitoring of the state of the Zaporozhye NPP by the leadership of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA)”said the general.
Mizintsev stressed that this is not the first provocation of the Kyiv regime at radiation hazardous facilities. The shelling of the territory of the Zaporozhye NPP by the Ukrainian military is deliberate and regular, creating a real threat to the nuclear security of not only Ukraine, but also Europe, he said.
