A 27-year-old resident of the village of Boromlya in the Sumy region of Ukraine is suspected of high treason. According to investigators, she “established contact” with the Russian military who occupied the village, cooked their food and washed their clothes, and also cohabited with one of the soldiers. This was reported by the prosecutor’s office of the Sumy region on Facebook (owned by Meta, which is recognized as extremist in the Russian Federation and banned).
Investigators of the Akhtyrsky district police department are conducting a pre-trial investigation into the cooperation of a local resident with the Russian military.
The prosecutor’s office reported that the military man, with whom the Ukrainian cohabited, promised to take her with him, but then disappeared.
Fighting for the Ukrainian city of Sumy has been going on since the first days of the special military operation. By March 25, the city was under the complete control of the Russian military. It was later reported that Russian troops had left the region.
