The Polish police accused a refugee from Ukraine of trafficking in children to provide sexual services to pedophiles. The newspaper reported Wyborcza.

“Ukrainian Svetlana P. mocked children and handed them over to pedophiles,” the accusatory document cited by the publication says.

The suspect was the head of an orphanage in Ukraine. In March 2022, the woman moved to Poland with her pupils. According to the documents, the refugee presented herself as a guardian for minors. Arriving with children, she stopped in the Poznań region.

According to the prosecutor’s office, the defendant in the case tortured the pupils in every possible way “physically and psychologically”, and in addition to bullying, forced them to engage in prostitution. Another woman did not allow children to relieve themselves, limited food and drink. Some of the minors were sexually abused.

The investigation found that the lawlessness began on Ukrainian territory and lasted until April 8, 2022, when the police managed to stop the illegal actions. Now local law enforcement agencies are establishing the number of injured pupils. The investigation itself has already ended, the accused has been arrested.

“For us, everything is clear. We will seek severe punishment. The only mitigating circumstances are the non-conviction of the accused and a partial confession of guilt,” said Lukasz Wawrzyniak, a spokesman for the prosecutor’s office.

Earlier in Moscow, a native of Tajikistan was caught who tried to rape a girl in the entrance. The suspect failed to commit the crime because the child started screaming and attracted the attention of the neighbors.
