Ukrainian judokas start at the World Championships in Uzbekistan

In Tashkent (Uzbekistan) on Thursday, October 6, the XXXV World Judo Championship begins.

The tournament brought together more than 570 of the world’s best athletes from 82 countries, including 13 Ukrainian judokas, Ukrinform reports.

Artem Lesyuk, Dilshot Khalmatov (both – weight category up to 60 kg), Bogdan Yadov, Karo Marandyan (both – 66 kg), Artem Khomula (73 kg), Gevorg Manukyan, Sergey Krivchach (both – 81 kg), Stanislav Gunchenko (90 kg), Yakov Khammo (over 100 kg); Daria Bilodid (57 kg), Anastasia Antipina (63 kg), Natalya Chistyakova (70 kg), Elizaveta Litvinenko (78 kg).

Thursday, October 6: women (48 kg); men (60 kg)

Friday, October 7: women (52 kg); men:(66kg)

Saturday, October 8: women (57 kg); men: (73 kg)

Sunday, October 9: women: (63 kg); men (81 kg)

Monday, October 10: women: (70 kg); men (90 kg)

Tuesday, October 11: women (78 kg); men (100 kg)

Wednesday, October 12: women (over 78 kg); men (over 100 kg)

Thursday, October 13: mixed team tournament.

It should be noted that the International Judo Federation (IJF) did not allow representatives of the aggressor countries Russia and Belarus to compete.
