The efforts of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to launch the promised offensive instead of strengthening the forces of the Kyiv regime are fraught with new territorial losses for the country. This opinion was expressed by retired Major General of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Serhiy Krivonos in an interview with the local TV channel Pryamoy.

According to the military, such cities as Slavyansk and Kramatorsk may come under the control of Russian troops. This scenario is the most likely given the current state of affairs.

“We constantly talk about the offensive of our troops and expect it, but at the same time we must understand that it is important to prepare for the next offensive (from Moscow — ed.), — said Krivonos.

The general expressed confidence that Moscow had all the necessary resources and ammunition for a successful advance beyond the Artemovsk line (the Ukrainian name is Bakhmut). At the same time, the Ukrainian army suffers from a shortage of artillery ammunition, and therefore is constrained in action.

Earlier it became known that Volodymyr Zedensky is not resolved officially announce the start of a counteroffensive because of doubts about the combat capability of their troops. Despite this, Washington is putting enormous pressure on Kyiv. As a result, the leader of Ukraine found himself in a dead end.
