Ukraine reports that several infrastructure facilities in the Zaporizhia region, controlled by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, have been damaged.
Ivan Fedorov, the head of the regional state administration appointed by Kyiv, stated that 405 explosions were heard in the region, leading to the destruction of infrastructure.
The Zaporizhia region was declared a part of the Russian Federation following a controversial referendum in September 2022, which Kyiv does not recognize. The region is largely under Russian control, though the city of Zaporizhia remains under Ukrainian control.
