Ukraine carried out its most extensive drone attack on Russia targeting at least 10 regions including Moscow. Nearly 350 drones were launched overnight with about 100 aimed at capital Reuters report.

According to latest reports, at least three Russian citizens lost their lives, and several others were injured. Residents in Moscow reported hearing multiple loud explosions in early hours.

“I woke up to a massive blast around 5 AM; whole building shook,” said a Moscow resident. “Moments later, another explosion followed, and I saw a drone hitting a nearby building.”
Russian Defense Ministry claimed its forces intercepted 337 drones, including 91 that were destroyed over Moscow. Most drones struck border regions such as Kursk, Belgorod, and Bryansk damaging fuel depots and several residential buildings.
Following the large-scale assault Russia temporarily suspended flights at six airports and canceled some train services as a precaution.

Attack occurred as United States was pushing for ceasefire talks, putting Kyiv under heightened diplomatic pressure.
Russia’s defense ministry also claimed to have shot down a Ukrainian MiG-29 fighter jet and intercepted multiple drones and rockets.
Ukrainian forces reported successfully countering Russian strikes in Kharkiv, Pokrovsk, and Kursk.

Additionally, Ukraine claimed responsibility for destroying Russian oil refineries in Ryazan and Samara, keeping tensions high along the front lines.
